American Camellia Yearbook, 1982, p.180, Reg. No.1819: A medium size, white to yellow, semi-double C.japonica chance seedling that blooms mid-season to late. Originated by W.F. Homeyer Jr., Macon, Georgia, USA. First bloomed 1963. Flower size 7.5 cm across x 3.2 cm deep with 43-53 petals, 3-5 petaloids, yellow anthers, white filaments, at times has chartreuse tinge. Plant growth is upright and slow with dark green leaves, 10 cm x 4.5cm. Original designation: ‘Witman’s Number 38’. |
