American Camellia Yearbook, 1954, p.301, Reg. No.184: A 10 year
old chance seedling; originated by Hugh Shackelford, Albany,
Georgia, USA. First flowered 1950. Plant growth is of average
density and rapid in rate with rather pointed, medium size
leaves. Flower buds are long, white with blush pink edges. The
incomplete double flowers, white with pink edges, have 18-25
petals with rabbit ears in the centre and are from 10-12.5 cm
across. Blooms mid-season to late. |
