Cha’, ‘Jizixing’. Evergreen trees or shrubs, short internodes, small
leaves, and small branching angles. Leaves elliptic, 2.5-5.5 cm long,
margins serrate. Buds green or light green, 0.5-0.7 cm long. Flowering
late October to late November, white, flat, diameter 2.5-4.0 cm, petals
5-8, stamens cluster in the center. Fruit mature in late October,
spherical or ovate, olive shape, reddish green or yellowish green, thin
shell, 1-3 among of seed in each fruit. |
