C. Polyodonta. Oil Tea Camellia Superior Germplasm Resources, 2008, editor in chief by Chen Yonzhong, p.168. Synonym:‘Wantian Honghuayoucha’, ‘Wantian Youchazi’. Evergreen trees. leaves elliptic, margins serrate or crenate, with prominent veining. Buds beige and fimbriated, flowers red, cup shape, flowering in February to April, petals 5-7, stamens dispersed into 2-4 united around. Fruit spherical or obovate, brown, diameter 5-10 cm, average 12%-20% seed weighted in each fresh fruit.
