Plant is vigorous with upright growth, and flowers mid-season. Originated by Clarence Gordy, Ocala, Fla., USA. American Camellia Yearbook, 2001, p.96, colour photo p.c15. The 10 year old seedling first flowered in 1994. Flowers measure 7.5 cm across x 3.8 cm deep, with 132 petals. Dark green leaves are 5 cm long.
