Davis, Cammaray, N.S.W., Australia. A sport of Aspasia Macarthur which
originated in 1958. Except for colour the flower is a typical Aspasia
Macarthur. Characteristics: Colour cream with the petals brilliantly
edged with rose in the manner of the Azalea ‘Albert & Elizabeth’.
Sports: Margaret Davis Ashley, Margaret Davis Picotee. Orthographic
error: ‘Margareth Davis’. Received the “William Hertrich Award”, 1969;
the “Sewell Mutant Award”, 1976 and the “William E. Woodroof, Hall of
