SCCS., 1951, The Camellia. Its Culture and Nomenclature: Creamy white at the base, shading through blush pink to cerise pink at edge with definite orchid overtones. Large, semi-double to peony form. Medium, compact growth. Mid-season to late flowering. Origi­nated by W.J. Robinson and C.J. Hayes, Norfolk, Virginia, USA. First flowered 1947. Registra­tion No.66 with the ACS.
