Originated by Matt Talia, Santa Clara, California, USA. American Camellia Yearbook, 1987, p.85: The 7 year old seedling first flowered 1980. Average flower size is 10 cm across x 7 cm deep with 86 petals, 60 petaloids, yellow anthers and light yellow filaments. Plant growth is upright and rapid with dark green leaves, 8 cm x 6 cm.
